Analytics

Hi Nina! This page is your shop's report card. It shows, in plain numbers, how many orders came in, how much money they were worth, what people looked at, and how many nearly-lost sales you managed to win back.

What this is

A dashboard of headline numbers about the shop. All of it is measured on our own servers — there are no outside trackers involved. You pick a time period at the top, and every number on the page then covers that same stretch of time.

How to open it

  1. Sign in to the admin.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Analytics.
  3. The numbers load straight away for the Last 7 days.
  4. Along the top right are the period buttons: Last 24h, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, and All time. Click one to change the whole page to that window.

What you can do here

Change the time period

  1. Click one of the period buttons at the top right.
  2. Every box on the page updates to cover that period. The button you chose is highlighted so you always know which window you are looking at.

Read the headline numbers

The top row of boxes gives you the big picture:

  1. Orders — how many orders were placed in the chosen period.
  2. Revenue — the total value of those orders.
  3. Avg order value — the average amount per order (revenue shared out across the orders).
  4. Product views — how many times product pages were looked at, with the number of separate visitors shown underneath.

Understand carts turning into orders

Two boxes help you judge how well browsing turns into buying:

  1. Order : view ratio — for every 100 product views, roughly how many became an order. It is shown as a percentage. Treat it as a rough guide, not an exact science.
  2. Abandoned-cart recoveries — how many shoppers left with items still in their cart but later came back and completed the order. The smaller line shows what share of your orders that was.

See what people are looking at

  1. Scroll to Top products by views.
  2. This table lists your most-viewed products for the chosen period, most popular first, with a view count for each.
  3. Click any product name to jump straight to that product's page.
  4. If the table is empty, it simply means no product views were recorded in that window yet.

Every number explained

Number What it means
Time period The window every number covers: last 24 hours, 7 / 30 / 90 days, or all time. Starts on Last 7 days.
Orders How many orders were placed in the period.
Revenue The total value of those orders, shown in Swedish kronor. If orders came in different currencies, the raw amounts are added together, so treat it as a close guide rather than an exact converted figure.
Avg order value Revenue divided by the number of orders — the typical amount a customer spends per order.
Product views How many times product pages were viewed in the period.
Unique sessions The number of separate visits behind those views (shown as a smaller line under Product views). One visitor viewing five products counts as one session.
Abandoned-cart recoveries Shoppers who left items in their cart, then came back and finished the order. The smaller line shows this as a percentage of all orders in the period.
Order : view ratio Orders divided by product views, as a percentage — a rough sign of how well looking turns into buying. Shows a dash if there were no views.
Top products by views Your most-looked-at products for the period, ranked, with a view count each. Click a name to open the product.

Common mistakes

Watch out for these

  • Comparing numbers from different periods. Every box follows the period button at the top. Before reading anything, check which period is highlighted.
  • Reading Revenue as an exact converted total. If sales came in more than one currency, the amounts are simply added up. It is a close guide, not a precise exchange-rate figure.
  • Treating the ratios as exact. The Order : view ratio and recovery rate are handy signs of a trend, not precise scientific measures. Watch how they move over time rather than fixating on one figure.
  • Worrying when a period looks empty. A quiet window (for example Last 24h overnight) can simply have little or no activity. Try a longer period like Last 30 days to see the fuller picture.
