Events

This is where you set up the training courses, webinars, and hands-on workshops that the shop runs. Each event is a topic (for example "Rejuran hands-on training"). Inside an event you add one or more sessions — the actual dates people can sign up for, each with its own city, price, and number of seats. Once an event is published, customers see it on the website and book a spot. This page is also where you can look at who has signed up.

Think of it like this:

  • Event = the course itself.
  • Session = a specific date and place it runs.
  • Registration = one person who booked a seat in a session.

How to open it

  1. Log in to the CMS.
  2. In the menu on the left, click Events.
  3. You'll see a list of every event, with buttons to create a new one or open an existing one.

What you can do here

Create a new event

  1. On the Events list, click the New event button (top right).
  2. Fill in the Event section at the top:
    • Choose the TypeHands-on workshop (people come in person) or Webinar (online).
    • Set the Status to Draft while you're still working on it. Nobody sees a draft. Switch it to Published when it's ready to go live.
    • Type a Title (the name customers see).
    • Fill in the Slug (the last part of the web address — see the field table below).
    • Add a short Summary, and any longer details, images, instructor name, and so on. Every field is explained in the table further down.
  3. Add at least one session (see the next step) so people have a date to book.
  4. Click Create at the bottom. The event is saved and you land on its edit page.

Tip

You don't have to fill in everything at once. Save as a Draft, come back later, and only switch to Published when it's finished.

Add sessions (dates, city, seats, price)

Sessions live in the Sessions section of the event form.

  1. Click + Add session. A new session box appears.
  2. Depending on the event type, fill in the location:
    • For a workshop: pick the Country, then type the City and the Venue (the building or address).
    • For a webinar: paste the Online URL (the Zoom, Teams, or similar meeting link).
  3. Set Starts and Ends — pick the date and time from the calendar boxes. Both are required.
  4. Set the Price and Currency, or leave the price empty to make the session free (see the field table for how the price number works).
  5. Set the Capacity — the number of seats. Leave it empty for unlimited.
  6. Leave Status on Open so people can book.
  7. Add any public Notes if you like.
  8. To add another date, click + Add session again. To remove one, click Remove on that box.
  9. Click Save at the bottom when you're done.

Note

A session is only saved when you click Save (or Create) at the bottom of the whole form. Adding a session box on its own doesn't save anything yet.

Feature an event on the homepage

The homepage has a rotating carousel. You choose which events appear there, and in what order, straight from the Events list.

  1. Open the Events list.
  2. Find the event's row and look at the Featured column on the far left — it's a small number box.
  3. Type a number to feature it. Lower numbers show first (1 appears before 2, and so on).
  4. Press Enter or click somewhere else. A green check mark confirms it saved.
  5. To take an event off the homepage, clear the box (leave it empty).

Tip

Featured events are listed at the top of the table, in the order they'll appear on the homepage, so you can see the running order at a glance.

Add an English translation

The default language is Swedish. You can add an English version so English-speaking customers see translated text.

  1. Open the event and scroll to the English translation section.
  2. Fill in the English Title, Summary, and Body.
  3. Leave any field empty to fall back to the Swedish version for that field.
  4. Click Save.

View who has registered

  1. Open the event (or, on the Events list, click the number in the Registrations column).
  2. On the event's edit page, click the Registrations button at the top.
  3. You'll see a table of everyone who booked: their name, email, company, which session, their status, and when they signed up.
  4. Click Export CSV to download the whole list as a spreadsheet file.

What the statuses mean:

  • registered — booked and holding a seat.
  • waitlist — the session was full, so they're waiting for a spot.
  • attended — they showed up (you marked them, see below).
  • cancelled — the booking was cancelled.

To record that someone turned up, click Mark attended on their row. That button only appears for people whose status is still registered.

Cancel a session

If a date can no longer run, cancel that single session without deleting the whole event:

  1. Open the event.
  2. In the Sessions section, find the session and set its Status to Cancelled.
  3. Click Save.

The other sessions and the event itself stay live.

Delete an entire event

  1. Open the event.
  2. Click the red Delete button at the bottom.
  3. Confirm when asked.

Warning

Deleting an event also deletes all of its sessions and every registration. This can't be undone. If you only want to stop showing an event, set its Status to Archived instead, or cancel the individual session.

Every field explained

Event fields

Field What it means
Type Hands-on workshop (in person) or Webinar (online). This changes what you fill in for each session — a place, or a meeting link.
Status Draft = hidden, work in progress. Published = live on the website. Archived = taken down but kept in the system.
Title The event name customers see. Required.
Slug The last part of the web address, for example rejuran-hands-on. Use lowercase words joined by dashes, no spaces. Try not to change it after publishing, or existing links break. Required.
Summary One line shown on the event card in the list of events.
Body The full description shown on the event's own page.
Hero image The big picture at the top of the event page. Click to upload.
Brand Optionally link the event to a brand from the drop-down. Leave on - None - if it doesn't belong to one.
Instructor The name of the person leading the event.
Audience A short note on who the event is for.
What's included What attendees get (materials, lunch, a certificate, and so on).
Cancellation policy Your rules if someone needs to cancel.
SEO title The title that shows in Google search results and the browser tab. Optional.
SEO description The short blurb under the title in Google search results. Optional.

Session fields

Field What it means
Country (Workshops) The country the session runs in: Sweden, Finland, Norway, or Denmark.
City (Workshops) The city it runs in.
Venue (Workshops) The building or address.
Online URL (Webinars) The meeting link (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
Starts / Ends The date and time the session begins and finishes. Both required.
Price The price per seat, in the smallest coin. For Swedish kronor that's öre, so multiply the kronor price by 100 — a 1 500 kr seat is typed as 150000. Leave empty to make the session free.
Currency The three-letter money code, for example SEK for Swedish kronor, NOK, DKK, or EUR.
Capacity How many seats the session has. Leave empty for unlimited.
Status Open = bookable. Full = no seats left. Cancelled = this date won't run.
Notes A short public note shown with this session.
Featured (Events list) A number that puts the event in the homepage carousel; lower numbers show first. Empty = not on the homepage.

Common mistakes

Watch out for these

  • The price is in öre, not kronor. Type 150000 for a 1 500 kr seat, not 1500. If you type 1500 you'll charge people 15 kronor. Double-check before saving.
  • An empty price means free, an empty capacity means unlimited. If you leave those boxes blank on purpose, that's what you'll get.
  • Nothing saves until you click Save (or Create) at the bottom. Adding a session box or changing a field isn't saved on its own.
  • A Draft event is invisible to customers. If an event isn't showing on the website, check that its Status is Published.
  • Deleting an event wipes its registrations too. To take an event down without losing the sign-up list, use Archived, or cancel the individual session instead.
  • Changing the Slug after publishing breaks existing links. Pick it carefully the first time.
