Event registrations

Hi Nina! This page shows everyone who has signed up for your events.

Whenever a customer registers for an event session, they appear here. From this page you can see who is coming, mark people as having actually turned up, decline a place, or remove a registration completely.

How to open it

  1. Open the admin website and sign in.
  2. In the menu on the left, click Event registrations.
  3. You will see a table of everyone who has signed up.

What you can do here

See who has registered

  1. Open the Event registrations page.
  2. Each row is one person's sign-up. It shows their name and email, their company, which event session they picked (the city and date, or "Online"), their current status, and the date they registered.

Filter the list by status

At the top of the page are five buttons: All, Registered, Attended, Waitlist, and Cancelled. Click one to show only those sign-ups.

Attendance history

Click Attended to see a clean list of everyone who actually turned up to your events. The page title changes to "Attendance history" so you know you are looking at that view.

Mark someone as attended

Use this when a person actually showed up to the event.

  1. Find their row.
  2. Click the green Attended button.

When this button appears

The Attended button only shows for people who are currently "Registered" or on the "Waitlist". Once someone is marked attended (or cancelled), the button is gone.

Decline or cancel a place

Use this to turn someone away, for example if an event is full or they asked to drop out.

  1. Find their row.
  2. Click the amber Decline button.

Their status becomes "Cancelled". This button shows for anyone who is not already cancelled.

Delete a registration completely

Use this only to remove a sign-up entirely, for example a duplicate or a test entry.

  1. Find their row.
  2. Click the red Delete button.
  3. A box asks you to confirm. Click OK only if you are sure.

Delete cannot be undone

Deleting removes the registration for good. If you only want to turn someone away, use Decline instead, which keeps the record.

Every field explained

What you see What it means
Customer The person's name (or their email if there is no name). Their email may show underneath.
Company The company they belong to, if they gave one.
Session Which event they signed up for: the city and start time, or "Online" for an online session.
Status Where their sign-up stands. See the status list below.
Registered The date and time they signed up.
Actions The buttons to mark attended, decline, or delete.

What each status means

Status Meaning
Registered They have a confirmed place.
Waitlist The event was full, so they are waiting for a spot.
Attended They actually turned up to the event.
Cancelled Their place was cancelled or declined.

Common mistakes

Watch out for these

  • Using Delete when you meant Decline. Delete wipes the record for ever. Decline keeps it and just marks the place as cancelled. When in doubt, choose Decline.
  • Looking for the Attended button and not finding it. It only appears for people who are "Registered" or on the "Waitlist". If someone is already cancelled, you will not see it.
  • Forgetting the filter is on. If the list looks short or empty, check which button at the top is selected. Click All to see everyone again.
